MAYURमयूर
Hand-Painted Mithila Saree in Pure Bhagalpuri Tussar Silk
Price on enquiry
Price reflects craftsmanship, heritage, material and time — not trends. Prices are shared on enquiry.
Limited Edition · 01 / 10 · Made to order
MAYUR takes the peacock — the most celebrated motif in Mithila art — and sets it on Pure Bhagalpuri Tussar Silk.
The roundels along the border and pallu are drawn and filled entirely by hand. Because each is made individually rather than repeated from a block or a screen, no two MAYUR sarees are exactly alike, and the small differences between them are the point rather than a flaw.

Authenticity
An authenticity certificate accompanies every piece, with Silk Mark & Handloom Mark documentation.
What accompanies every pieceCare
Dry clean only, by a cleaner who handles silk regularly. Never machine wash, never wring, never bleach.
Store folded in the muslin bag it arrived in, in a cool, dark, dry place. Cotton or muslin lets the silk breathe; plastic traps moisture and yellows it.
Shipping
Each saree is folded, wrapped in its muslin bag and placed in the House magnetic box with its authenticity documentation, brand story card and woven label before it leaves us.
Because pieces are limited editions and several are made to order, dispatch begins once the piece is finished and has passed House inspection.
Returns
Slub, tonal variation and small irregularities in hand-painted artwork are signatures of authenticity, not faults. We photograph pieces in natural light with minimal editing so what you receive is what you saw.
